Move In

How MoveIn makes it happen

Dinner with Friends

A table built to host long, loud nights.

Dinner with Friends
Dinner with Friends

Hosting, by design

Generous seating that scales - extra chairs that store flat, a table that handles eight without feeling tight at four.

Lighting that earns its keep. A dimmable pendant pulls the room low; sconces and candles fill in the warmth.

Acoustics matter when conversation is the point. Soft textiles, rugs, and curtains keep the room intimate even at full volume.

Service flow planned end-to-end - a sideboard within reach of the table, glassware accessible without leaving the room.

Home Cinema

A living room that turns down for film night.

Home Cinema

Built for the long evening

Sofas chosen for depth, not just silhouette - the kind you sink into for a three-hour film without shifting.

Blackout layered with sheer. The room runs daylight bright or pitch dark, switched at the curtain rod.

Lighting in zones - floor lamp, picture light, accent - each on its own switch, all on dimmers.

Surfaces that work hard. A low table that takes plates, glasses and feet without complaint.

Music & Reading Corner

A single armchair, a perfect lamp, and time to slow down.

Music & Reading Corner
Music & Reading Corner

A space for one, by design

An armchair anchors the corner - chosen for posture and light, not just shape.

Storage that doubles as display. Records, books, a turntable - a sideboard that holds them all without sprawl.

Warm task lighting that pools on the page without spilling into the rest of the room.

Acoustic intent. Soft surfaces tuned to favour the mid-range - the room sounds as good as the speakers.

Winter Garden

Plants as the centerpiece. The room follows.

Winter Garden
Winter Garden

Bright, alive, all year

Light planned first. Plant species matched to the actual sun your windows get, not the catalogue ideal.

Pots and planters as architecture - terracotta, wicker, ceramic - scaled to species and to the room.

Materials that breathe. Wicker, linen, oak - surfaces that flatter green and weather it well.

Care made simple. Watering, drainage, and rotation worked into the layout before the first plant arrives.

My Workout Routines

A corner of the home that earns its sweat.

My Workout Routines

Movement, by design

A clear floor zone - a yoga mat unrolls without moving anything else.

Storage that disappears. Dumbbells, foam roller, bands tucked into a low bench or basket within reach.

Light and air. Window placement that lets a session breathe - natural light in the morning, cross-ventilation by evening.

Surfaces tuned for use. A non-slip rug or cork pad that holds up to weight and movement without scuffing.

Cooking Sessions

A kitchen that invites the long, slow cook.

Cooking Sessions
Cooking Sessions

Built around the stove

An island that earns its width - prep on one side, stools on the other, friends already on their second glass.

Tools out, not hidden. Hanging pans, a knife strip, fresh herbs in reach - the cook never has to break flow to dig.

Lighting layered for the work. Bright over the counter, warm over the table, dimmable for the meal that follows.

Surfaces that take heat, oil, and time. Stone, oak, brushed steel - finishes that age into the kitchen instead of out of it.

Creative team

The creative team that supports our every move

MoveIn works alongside a group of talented designers and their creative studios — partners who help shape the way MoveIn looks, feels and evolves.

From the styles we curate to the products we select for each style, every creative choice was thoughtfully designed by them. They work closely with our plans, reviewing and refining them to ensure that every space feels considered, personal and true to the people who live in it.

But their role goes beyond aesthetics. They bring the human touch to our platform, adding that extra layer of thought, detail and personality that turns a well-designed space into one that feels truly yours.

As our creative partners, they also keep our creative proposition alive and evolving, constantly bringing new ideas, perspectives and inspiration to MoveIn.

Rita Bessa, architect and MoveIn creative partner

Rita Bessa Studio

Rita Bessa

Rita trained as an architect in Porto and spent ten years designing in Rio de Janeiro, from housing in the favelas to luxury homes. At MoveIn she leads every style alongside Paz Braga, working in strong lines, quiet detail and materials you want to reach out and touch.

  • Harmonious

Bio

Rita Bessa took her master’s in architecture at FAUP, in Porto. Soon after finishing she moved to Rio de Janeiro and stayed for ten years, designing across the whole span of the city, from housing in the favelas to luxury homes. Since 2019 she has been based in Porto again, where her studio, Rita Bessa Arquitectura, carries her authored work across Portugal. She is known for rehabilitation and interiors built on strong lines and a spare, precise sense of construction detail, paired with furniture chosen to keep a space both functional and in harmony with itself.

Philosophy

For Rita, a home has to hold two things at once: the practical business of living and the soul of the person living there. She designs towards that with a careful, authored hand, mixing lines, forms, materials and textures until a room settles into harmony and ease.

Paz Braga, architect and MoveIn creative partner

Santo Infante Studio

Paz Braga

Paz is an architect, interior designer and founder of Santo Infante, working from Lisbon across hospitality, homes and retail. At MoveIn she shapes every style alongside Rita Bessa, designing interiors that answer to the place they are in: its materials, its craft, its stories.

  • Timeless
  • Rooted
  • Authentic

Bio

Paz Braga knew early that architecture and interior design were her calling, observant by nature, curious about how a space shapes an ordinary day. Ten years living in Brazil deepened it, opening up a range of materials, colours and ways of living that still run through her work. Today she is an architect, interior designer and the founder of Santo Infante, working from Lisbon across hospitality, residential and commercial projects. Her practice runs on a deep appreciation for place and is recognised for its understated elegance and for the connections it draws between people, spaces and the stories they inhabit.

Philosophy

Paz believes every space should tell a story, one that reflects its surroundings, its heritage and the people living inside it. Her work is grounded in authentic interiors that balance contemporary living with a strong sense of place, built on considered materials, local craftsmanship and design meant to outlast a trend.
